Young George restaurant in East Fremantle to close after 10 years

Young George, an acclaimed restaurant in East Fremantle, closes its doors for the final time after 10 years of operation. Owners Melissa Palinkas and Susan Whelan cite the recent bridge closure as a significant factor in their decision. The restaurant will officially shut down on Thursday, April 1, 2026.
