WHO Raises Alarm Over Rising Ebola Cases in DRC
World Health Organization Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus expresses deep concern over the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, reporting at least 500 suspected cases and 130 suspected deaths. Thirty cases are confirmed in Ituri province, with one confirmed death in Uganda and a US citizen testing positive and transferred to Germany.
