Victoria to Ban Phones and Smart Devices in All Schools by 2027

Victoria will extend its phone ban to all schools, including private and Catholic institutions, starting in 2027. Initially introduced in government schools in 2020, the ban now encompasses smartwatches and earbuds as well. This makes Victoria the first state in Australia to implement such a comprehensive policy.
