Over 110 New Species Discovered in Coral Sea Expedition

Marine scientists discover over 110 new fish and invertebrate species in the Coral Sea, with expectations that the total could exceed 200 as further identifications are made. The species were found at depths ranging from 200 metres to 3km in Australia’s largest marine protected area, covering nearly 1 million square kilometres.
