Over 1,000 Toads Feared Dead After Reservoir Drained
Conservationists in Denbighshire report that over 1,000 toads may have died after a Welsh water firm drained the Nant-y-Ffrith reservoir during the breeding season. Volunteers from Wrexham Toad Patrols had previously assisted 1,500 toads in crossing roads to reach the site, highlighting the reservoir's ecological importance.
