Natasha Stott Despoja awarded top honour in King's Birthday honours
Natasha Stott Despoja, former leader of the Australian Democrats, is appointed a companion of the Order of Australia in the King's Birthday honours. She is recognised for her work on the South Australian royal commission into family violence, alongside Will Hodgman and mathematician Prof Terence Tao. Stott Despoja previously held an officer title since 2019.
