Mississippi Lawmakers to Redraw Districts at Historic Racist Site

Mississippi lawmakers will meet on 20 May at the Old Capitol Museum for a special session to redraw state supreme court districts. This site has a history of racism, as it was where lawmakers voted to secede from the union in 1861. The location is used due to renovations in the current house chamber.
