Kanye West ordered to pay for copyright infringement at stadium event

Kanye West, now known as Ye, has lost a lawsuit for copyright infringement after playing an uncleared sample during a 2021 listening party at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium. He must pay a six-figure sum to four plaintiffs whose work was sampled in the song 'Hurricane'.
