Jury Acquits Childcare Worker of Sexual Offences

Joshua James Capps is found not guilty of one count of rape and three counts of indecent treatment of a child. The charges stemmed from incidents alleged to have occurred while he worked at a childcare centre in Brisbane's north. The jury delivered its verdict on April 24, 2026.
