Jagger and Clapton halt 29-storey Thames tower development
Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton successfully oppose a proposed 29-storey tower on the River Thames, with a planning inspector backing the council's rejection of the development. The inspector described the project as 'not exemplary, extraordinary, remarkable or distinctive, just tall'. The decision comes after a two-year campaign against the developer Rockwell Property.
