Indigenous Designers Showcase at FNFD Runway Ahead of Fashion Week
On May 7, First Nations Fashion and Design (FNFD) hosted their first runway show in four years in Sydney, featuring six Indigenous brands and an all-Indigenous cast of models. Titled “Reclamation”, the event included performances by rapper Barkaa and poet Luke Currie-Richardson, aiming to establish an annual platform for Indigenous designers outside traditional fashion structures.
