Friend of fugitive Dezi Freeman thought he had died

Bruce Evans, a friend of fugitive Dezi Freeman, reveals he believed Freeman had died seven months ago. Freeman escaped into dense bushland after fatally shooting two police officers in the Victorian high country on August 26, 2025, and Evans has not heard from him since then.
