Former Navy Admiral Advances in South Carolina Democratic Primary

Nancy Lacore, a former three-star navy rear-admiral dismissed by Pete Hegseth, advances to a Democratic run-off for Nancy Mace’s congressional seat in South Carolina. Lacore, who served 35 years in the navy and was chief of the navy reserve, was ousted in August 2025 during a military leadership purge.
