Five EU Nations Actively Undermine Rule of Law, Report Finds
Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, and Slovakia are identified as 'dismantlers' of the rule of law by the Civil Liberties Union for Europe. The group warns that these governments are consistently undermining democratic standards, with six additional countries also experiencing declines in their democratic practices. This assessment is based on evidence from over 40 NGOs across 22 nations.
