FDA approves Eli Lilly's oral weight-loss pill Foundayo
The US Food and Drug Administration has approved Eli Lilly's new oral weight-loss medication, Foundayo, also known as orforglipron. This once-daily tablet is the second GLP-1 drug in pill form to gain approval, following Novo Nordisk's Wegovy, which was authorised in December 2022.
