Coweta County Residents Push for Vote on Datacentre Project

Residents of Coweta County, Georgia, are pushing for a referendum to vote on Project Sail, a proposed datacentre, and to prevent future datacentres and cryptocurrency mining. Organisers have collected around 6,500 signatures towards their goal of 14,000, with the movement gaining traction through community events. Coweta County has a population of approximately 160,000.
