Brisbane creeks contain 4000 microplastics per kilo of sludge
Researchers from QUT discover an alarming concentration of microplastics in Brisbane's creeks, with up to 4000 particles found in just one kilogram of sediment. The study, which sampled Kedron Brook, Enoggera, and Bulimba creeks four times a year, highlights the growing issue of plastic pollution in urban waterways.
