Andy Kershaw, the renowned BBC radio DJ, has died at the age of 66, as confirmed by his family. He is best known for hosting the BBC Radio 1 show from 1985 to 2000 and began his BBC career in 1984 with The Old Grey Whistle Test. Kershaw also co-presented the television coverage of Live Aid.
