Inquest reveals baby skeleton may date back 300 years
An inquest reveals that the skeletal remains of a baby boy, known as 'Baby Auckland', found wrapped in a 1910 newspaper, may date back as far as 300 years. The remains were discovered under the floor of a house in Bishop Auckland, with the inquest held in Crook, County Durham, on April 14, 2026.
