Alleged Mastermind of Phillips and Pereira Murders to Stand Trial

Ruben Dario da Silva Villar, the alleged mastermind behind the murders of journalist Dom Phillips and activist Bruno Pereira, will stand trial in Brazil. A federal judge in Amazonas determined there is enough evidence to proceed with the case against Villar, who is also known as 'Colômbia'.
